The Upside of Anger – Joan Allen as Terry Wolfmeyer, the mother of four daughters who believes her husband has abandoned her for his secretary and a life in Sweden, and Kevin Costner as Denny Davies, a retired Detroit Tigers baseball star, getting by on his former fame, who tries to befriend her and her girls, but Terry’s anger keeps getting in the way; I didn’t find Terry likeable or worthy of my empathy, and the narrative’s point of view was confused, beginning with the youngest daughter but then veering off in various directions.
