Stormy Weather – a 1943 musical classic (in black-and-white but all-black all-star cast): Lena Horne, Bill “Bojangles” Robinson, Cab Calloway, Fats Waller, and the Nicholas Brothers (incredible dance number); the light-hearted story about a guy and his girl begins at the end of WWI and ends with the start of WWII, but the music (featuring the title song and “Ain’t Misbehavin’”) and the dancing are the principal attractions.
