Death to Smoochy – Smoochy the purple rhinoceros – creation of a conscientious performer, Sheldon Mopes (Edward Norton), who tries to make the show wholesome and squeaky clean –  takes over a kid’s program for Randolph Rainbow (Robin Williams) after the latter gets arrested for bribery; Randolph plots his revenge to return to his former glory. This movie received an R rating for bad language and even worse taste. Terrible! Maybe if someone liked What About Bob?, that one might enjoy this trash. Also starring Catherine Keener (they all should have known better); directed by Danny DeVito who also had the role of the villain. Death to this movie.
