Memoirs of a Geisha – the story of an impoverished child (her father sells her and her sister before the parents die of disease and hunger) Chiyo, who becomes a geisha in Japan, between 1929 and the end of World War II; starring Ziyi Zhang, Ken Watanabe, Michelle Yeoh, and Li Gong.
