Love with Sex – (Chilean, subtitles) Three married couples attend a parent-teacher conference with their children’s fourth-grade teacher, who introduces them to her ideas of sex education. She is having an affair with one father, a sexpert and author of books about sex, whose marriage has shipwrecked and he wants to be on an island alone with the young teacher, though she also has a boyfriend; another father copulates with every willing female while his wife pregnant wife goes to the movies with a gay former classmate; the third pair struggle with their sexual dysfunction (“Look, you don’t have to camp out between a women’s legs for twenty minutes of cunnilingus to know that sex – like life itself – involves a fair amount of tedium,” Sandra Tsing Loh might have advised them) and a visiting niece. The film was controversial for treating taboo topics in sexually-repressed Chile.
