(2009) Trust me. On everything good and true, I swear you'll enjoy this romantic dramedy from director/writer Tony Gilroy.

A hair-raising triple play of corporate espionage - involving lotions, potions, and creams - begins five years earlier on July 4th, 2003, in Dubai with MI6 agent Ray Koval (Clive Owen, looking like a cross between Cary Grant and Rock Hudson) meeting the CIA's Claire Stenwick (Julia Roberts, sexy at 40 but not pretty), who seduces, drugs, and steals secret codes from the Brit.

In New York City, Ray encounters Claire again and her bald lies. They have chemistry ("Go private, smart, get lucky") but can't help playing and misreading each other.

Backward in time we go to Rome, Miami, and Cleveland (frozen pizzas); forward they move to Zurich to collect $35 million after deceiving their respective employers, cosmetics rivals Burkett and Randle's CEO Howard Tully (Tom Wilkinson) and Equikrom's CEO Richard Garsik (Paul Giamatti), who uses a highly sophisticated group of spies to obtain a break-through product from his competitor. You won't believe it.
