Catch Me If You Can – entertaining fun, even funny; based on the actual life of the very clever, cunning con artist Frank W. Abagnale Jr (Leonardo DiCaprio) who before his capture in 1969, before he turned 18, had passed himself off as a Pan Am airline pilot, emergency-room physician, and assistant prosecutor while forging checks for millions of dollars; Carl Hanratty (Tom Hanks) leads a troupe of befuddled FBI agents on Abagnale’s trail. Frank Abagnale led a charmed life.
