Cars – Pixar’s CGI (computer graphics incredible) animated movie that wondrously merges photo-realistic landscapes with anthropomorphic machines. Fantastic detailing includes water splashing and the sheen off polished metal. Voices of Owen Wilson, Paul Newman, Bonnie Hunt, NPR’s Click and Clack (Tom and Ray, the Car Talk guys), Cheech Marin, Richard Petty, Bob Costas, and more. Cocky rookie racecar Lightning McQueen gets his comeuppance and valuable advice in Radiator Springs on Route 66 before the big race in California.
