What Planet Are You From? – (2000) or “I Married an Alien from Another Planet.” A sci-fi sex comedy directed by Mike Nichols begins on a far-distant planet where everyone, while extremely intelligent, is the product of cloning; reproductive organs have shriveled away along with emotions. The leader, Graydon (Ben Kingsley), has decided that Earth would be an easy target for domination. Many candidates are recruited and trained for a mission to take the role of a male human in order to impregnate a woman on Earth. H1449-6 is selected as the best candidate and given the name Harold Anderson (Gary Shindling) and an artificial penis. (An earlier attempt that ended in Roswell is to be avoided.)

Harold the alien travels to Earth and enters via the toilet a commercial jetliner headed for Phoenix. (He and Graydon will have conferences in the lavatory on other flights.) FAA inspector Roland Jones (John Goodman) begins an investigation of strange encounters involving aircraft. Harold goes to work for a bank as a loan officer and immediately begins searching for a mate, but his dating technique lacks nuance. Nevertheless, he meets Susan Hart (Annette Bening), a real-estate agent, who finds his direct approach – he tells her that his life’s mission is to have a baby – refreshing. There are several very funny bits of dialogue.
