Laramie Movie Scope:
University of Wyoming film schedule

Films at the University of Wyoming

[Strip of film rule]
by Robert Roten, Film Critic
[Strip of film rule]

Here are some films showing at the University of Wyoming. Most, if not all, of these are video projections rather than film projector showings. As far as I know these are all free, and some even have free popcorn and pop. Most showings are upstairs in the Wyoming Union Family Room. I got the notices for most of these from flyers posted in the student union on campus. Some, I got from Internet listings at the UW web site, so there could be last minute schedule changes.

Sorry if I leave out sponsors, but unless there is an Internet notice somewhere, or unless somebody e-mails me this information, I don't know the sponsors of all these movies. I don't know if these showings are open to the general public (unless I specifically say they are below). In addition to these specific film showings, UW Libraries have an impressive collection of DVDs that anyone (even the general public) can check out for a week. Here is a list of some of the library's DVD holdings.

Some movie titles below are linked to my reviews or Online Film Critic Society reviews. Ratings denoted by * are composite (calculated average) ratings, using data from members of the Online Film Critics Society, or similar data from toptenreviews.
